Girl with asthma believed she could never have a cat due to allergies, her whole life is turned upside down by a loving tabby when she discovers she's not allergic anymore

Allergies come and go, and it's a good thing this girl got the cat of her dreams. 

Asthma is one of those things that can affect everything in someone's life. The symptoms are the same, but the causes of the symptoms vary wildly. It could be a food, dust, an animal, or something else. In this story, a girl believed her whole life that her asthma would be the thing to stop her from getting a cat. She always wanted one but thought her asthma wouldn't allow her to. She's never owned cats before due to the asthma, and lately she got curious about the idea that she would have a cat and maybe wouldn't be as allergic as she thought she was. Turns out she was right. 

She went out looking for stray cats in Louisiana where she lives, and started looking online at the cat distribution system stories and how she could manifest it for herself. It had been weeks and she started to feel like it would never come, and her luck ran out. She went for a stroll in the neighborhood late at night, around 2 am because she couldn't sleep. That's when she saw it, a sweet, fluffy tabby stretched out on the sidewalk. The tabby immediately rolled over and showed its belly for her, and in that sign of approval she pet the stray. She decided to grab a can of sardines and a bowl of water, and then she put the cat on a pet bed on the porch. She woke up to the cat being gone, and she thought it was over. But two weeks later, the cat appeared again begging for a furrever home. Her name is Cali, and this girl is so happy to finally call herself a cat lady. Read the full story below.

  • I grew up with asthma and it can be the most inconvenient thing. It's painful to feel like you can't breath and get air in. I was allergic to corn, so I couldn't eat anything basically. Everything has corn in it, so I was really isolated growing up. These days everyone has some sort of dietary restriction.
