  • Inflatable water slide.
  • In May the people who rent the house behind mine had an inflatable bouncy water slide for their child's birthday party.
  • That evening I was working on my backyard and they drained the slide, their yard sits higher than mine. The water rushed down the hill, it
  • washed out a section of my flower bed along the fence and washed it all straight into my pool. It was about 400 gallons of water, dirt and muck
  • The renters we're unapologetic and said ooops, we didn't know the way would flow down hill
  • I called the owner of the house because I have known him his entire life, his mother owned the house previously and was a close friend. He immediately sent a crew to fix everything.
  • Apparently he told his renters that they weren't to have another water slide.
  • Fast forward to now and it's their other kids birthday and they knock on my door and say they want to use our pool for their son's birthday party
  • since WE got them banned. from having another slide. It's just about 35-40 people, 50 tops, mostly their families but 20 or so of the guests would
  • be children and they would just take down a panel of MY fence to allow them to walk/run back and forth from my yard to theirs, but they'd
  • be sure to step around my flowers Ummm, wt ?! No.
  • Family sitting by their home pool.
  • But we OWE it to them because WE got them banned from having another bouncy. water slide for their other child. Still no!
  • We're ruining their child's birthday and ruining their lives I'm still flabbergasted
  • kmflushing Call their landlord again.
  • Ok-Brick6831 Yeah, they have pools you can rent for parties. Mine ain't one of them.
  • Born-Vermicelli-1757 what are they talking about? they got themselves banned from having another water slide by making it evident they dont know how to conduct themselves.
  • WillaLane OP We have cameras, security system, motion sensor lights, two large dogs and a dog door. They're trained to not eat food from people who aren't us or our dog sitter.
  • We had left a message for the homeowner and he stopped by, he was telling us about some of the other problems he's had with them. The lady next door to them is in her late
  • 80s and they have tried to take advantage of her but she's sharp. Anyway, their lease is up at the end of September and he's not renewing it.
