Are you ready to rumble like the wild animals do on the weekend?

There are plenty of ways to get ready for the weekend. Some might just be happy to leave work on Friday and be done with the week, and others might look at the weekend like a whole other set of days you need to plan for. Either way, no matter which type of weekend prepper you are, we think the best method to think about the upcoming weekend is none other than to take inspiration from various wild animals. Because, honestly? They do it the best. Let us elaborate:

First, there's Friday night - because what weekend people would we be if we didn't start the weekend early? For some real Friday night partying, we look up to the owls. Aloof, sharp-eyed, and wide awake while the world sleeps. Owls hunt entirely under cover of darkness, gliding almost soundlessly and striking with precision. Nothing gets past them at night - they're alert, focused, and thriving in an environment everyone else has checked out of. Peak nocturnal main-character energy.

After being up all night on Friday, it's time to rest and recharge on Saturday, like a bear. Bears can sleep for months at a time, and even outside hibernation season they're masters of doing absolutely nothing. Slow, heavy-lidded, unbothered - a bear's default state is horizontal. No urgency, no plans, just a warm den and zero interest in leaving it. The blueprint for a recovery day.

When all our energy is back up, it's time to make the most out of Sunday - what's left of this weekend. For that, we channel the wildebeest's energy for a nice nature hike. Over a million wildebeest migrate across the Serengeti every year, covering nearly 1,000 miles in a continuous loop chasing rain and fresh grass. It's relentless, purposeful movement, day after day. No animal squeezes more distance - or more meaning - out of its time. Sunday, but epic.
