‘Peigengoo’: Cursed language-learning absurdist brainrot Tiktoks meant to be tagged and sent to your friends to lighten their day

Where will these virtual 'influencers' take us?

This is Peingengoo, an anthropomorphic pigeon that 'pretends' to be a language teacher but delivers confusing, encrypted messages. There's something about his voice clashing with his appearance, his sensual and deep demeanor, and the overall ridiculousness of the songs he sings and what he says.

Sometimes I find myself scrolling through TikTok when some really insightful content appears, and I just don't have the mental capacity to process it, so I end up watching what Gen Z would call 'brainrot'. We all know we're saturated with information, and I think that's exactly why these surreal influencers and stories materialize. They are post-narrative, post-making-sense; they just let your brain rest on clashing, absurdist, and funny sensations.

They won't stop emerging. There are anthropomorphic fruits, animals, and objects. Someone should definitely design a pantheon of these virtual beings. There will come a time when they create themselves, and no post-ironic mastermind is prompting their birth.

I like to believe AI would never maximize irony's potential, but at this rate, I can be proven wrong anytime. Anyway, this is the perfect thing to send to a friend on a busy Friday afternoon, exactly when they are at their most tired. Go ahead and confuse them a little more and have fun with it.

The birthday one is just so evil, but lol indeed. I loved that he assumed it was a call like that was the most obvious option. Sure, anthropomorphic pigeons call me all the time, especially in the middle of the night. I can't imagine what it would feel like to see something like that while in that state. This girlfriend deserves the most elaborate, absurdist revenge. I mean… She started it.
I wonder how we would explain this to a Victorian child…Did they draw their own kind of brainrot with charcoal?
He is chaotic, cursed and ironic, but I love him, and I think everyone should meet him. I know I sound like Robert Pattinson trying to pretend he is Gen Z but nobody can make me hate you Peigengoo.
