Cat lover ironically stumbles upon kittens in his yard while on his way to the animal shelter to adopt a cat, he takes in all three and feeds the mama cat as well

The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways. 

Chance and happenstance are all around us. Sometimes life makes you shrug your shoulders and say, "huh, isn't that something." With all the strange moments that feel fated, ironic, and bizarre, it's no wonder we have to believe something's out there. Of course, anyone can say it's random happenings, but there's another perspective, and that's one where coincidences don't exist. What we believe to be a coincidence is just giving a name to magic in the fabric of the universe. There's no test at the end of life if you knew something to be true or not, and sometimes it's better to believe in a little bit of that sense of magic. In the story here, that kind of magic does persist, and it's important to acknowledge. 

This person has been feeding a mama cat for some time. He's on his way to the animal shelter to adopt a cat of his own, when lo and behold he sees in his yard three kittens with the mama cat. After some time she stopped showing up and left her kittens behind. He thought that there's only one reason for her to do this on the day he wanted to adopt, and that's that the cat distribution system fated him with the kittens that she can't take care of. He takes all of them in. It's a process to train them and tame them, because they're feral and untrusting. They're used to being outside, but he uses food as a temptation method to get closer to them. They're sweethearts now, and they're one big happy family. The Tuxedo is skittish, but also loves pets. The black cat is a Velcro cat who just wants love. This guy is just so grateful that he got kittens exactly how he wanted, and he didn't even have to go to the shelter! Life is strange, so embrace it.

  • I'm definitely one to believe in fate. There's no point in living in the world without magic. I know some people who claim not to believe in anything, then suddenly when it's their favorite sport team's game they refuse to wear certain colors as not to affect their chances of winning. That's a belief!
