Coworker eats all cookies intended for a team of 10, employee who brought them bakes more, then the coworker does it again: 'He didn't even thank me'

Fresh cookies on a blue plate on a desk at the office.
Feisty Chickadee NTA. Time to start hand- delivering the cookies. The cookie hog gets the last one IF they're lucky.
Ronald McFirbank Guess who's not bringing cookies to work any more? The person who didn't get a cookie and got bitched out for wanting to make sure everyone got one.
ptprn11 I think it's time to just put the cookies in individual bags and write the person's name on it, only give this guy half a cookie, and make sure you put a big smiley face on there
Berrybliss2014 This reminds me of the story of the guy whose boss would bring in donuts for the office once a week. Enough for everyone to have two. He ate his two; saw his coworker wasn't there. He ate one of hers. She still wasn't there; so he ate her other one. Then the
coworker got there; she had car trouble and had to drop off her kids. She hadn't had time to eat. She was less than an hour late. The boss gave the late coworker one of their donuts. So, selfish guy (who wrote the post) ate 4 donuts in less than an hour.
Lordofthelowend Nta "you put the cookies out for everyone. We can eat what we want. You're just mad that you didn't think to set one aside for yourself." This is profoundly douchey.
shorrrtay When I was an air traffic controller, we had a new trainee who loved bringing in baked goods. Single girl in a new city. I honestly think she just liked making them and sharing them with the crew. This is also a profession in which what your crew thinks of your
progress can greatly affect whether or not you're going to wash out. One day, she came in without snacks. One of the guys on the crew said "what the h I? Where are my snacks?"
I looked at her and said "now is exactly when you stop bringing in snacks. Do not let them take advantage of you." She was doing something nice, and the guys were starting to treat her like a vending machine.
SoFetchIt Hurts It is ride. You have 2 max not 6!! Blimey. I'd hand deliver them to all coworkers next time except 2.
00Lisa00 NTA but just walk around and offer the cookies instead of just leaving them out
Charming_Turnip_5087 Nta. I used to bring baked goods to work too, mostly for birthdays but sometimes just for fun... I had to stop because of this. If you cant be nice and share with everyone, then no one gets any. I didn't make 20 cookies for 3 people to eat them all
