I think that by now we all remember that I was never a cat person. I've told this story before: I've never had cats, always dogs, so I've never known how to interact with them, what it is that they like, and also, I never understood that will of always wanting to be alone and independent. Dogs are not like that at all, and that's what I love most about them. However, it came one time that my grandma asked me to watch her cat while she left for vacation, and I ended up falling in love with that little furry animal in an instant. And that's because I learnt how they like to live their lives and how they interact with humans. Yes, they will never be as needy as dogs, but that's the whole beauty in them. They know how they like things done, and they will find a way to let you know before you even know it.

At this point in life, people consider themselves either a dog person or a cat person. But I've something extra to add to the topic: why not be both? Of course, we can prefer to be one or the other, but in the end, both animals are so different that they will never overlap, and you will find a way to love each of them, no matter what. If I ever decide to get a pet, I think I'll most likely have one dog and one cat, because it would not only be the funniest thing, but it will create the perfect balance for my home.
