Let’s be real, Darby is the actual homeowner here. You guys just showed up, signed some paperwork, and started paying the bills on her behalf. She was literally included in the house manual, so we’re pretty sure that gives her some kind of legal claim to the property. It may have taken her two years to come check on the new tenants, but clearly she was just giving you time to settle in before reminding everyone whose house this really is.

What a transformation for Darby! She went from showing up outside injured and unsure of everyone to lounging in her window bed, eating Churus, and even coming out when guests are around. You can really see how much more comfortable she’s gotten since moving inside. It might have taken her a while to realize these hoomans were safe, but she clearly knows this is her home now. Not a bad retirement setup for a kitty who technically came with the house.

This house was definitely worth a little more on the market considering it came with its very own feline. Forget updated appliances, extra storage, or a newly renovated kitchen, we want to know whether a cat is included with the property. Darby might have taken two years to actually show up and claim her place, but that just makes her an extra-special bonus feature. Every real estate listing should have a little box that says “resident kitty included.”
