Foster fail stories are amongst the best feline adoption stories out there. Beginning with the hilarious notion that the cat they saved from the streets will only be a temporary visitor in their home, a couple takes their time to tentatively get to know the cat. But before long they are head over heels and the whole thing is over with. That cat isn't going anywhere. But what we do not often get to hear about is why this kitty was fated to join their fur family in the first place. And so today we are proud to present the tale of the cat who was caught so that it would one day care for and cuddle its hooman baby sibling.

There is no doubting the serendipitous and fateful nature of finding cats in crisis. Whether it be in a trash can, up a tree or suffering in ailments in an alleyway, it is not too difficult to find one, but we are not made aware of the ones who are not destined for us. Only a feline that has been fated to be yours will appear to you and make themselves known. Yet another reason as to why so many fosters fail, especially fosters who have rescued the cat themselves. Because the cat was always meant to be theirs.

It is a wonderful fact, but also one that does not receive all too much attention as the true reason the cat was destined to be with a specific family only reveals itself much later on. Thankfully, we have just that information to hand in this story, showing the full arc from scared stray to sweet baby snuggler.

Honestly, so classic and wholesome it could be a TLC or Hallmark movie just as it is. This is one of the things that we deeply love about the Cat Distribution System. They have found a way to make their deliveries as sweet and simple as pawsible because they know that later down the line this cat is going to have a much more meaningful purpose other than to simply fall into these peoples’ lives. As is about to be evidenced by the remainder of this heartwarming tail.

And that, ladies and gentlemen is the true reason that this feline was an instant foster fail, heck the whole reason that this hooman found this feline in the first place. It was all about this moment. The moment when the Cat Distribution System simply knew that this cat loving couple would need a nice feline to fill out their life and provide the comfort and cuddles that they could not provide one another. We are just so darn lucky to have cats in our hooman existence that are concerned with and care for us unlike almost any other animal.
