Oh, dear lord. And by "lord", we mean our cat. Because that's who rules our lives from top to bottom.

Most cat people are happy to serve their lords, ladies, and masters. Their cats. Just a small meow can get them to stop anything they do at that moment and hurry up to see where their cat has summoned them from, and ask, "What's wrong, my liege?" And honestly? Same. As cat people ourselves (as expected from anyone here at I Can Has Cheezburger, of course), we get it completely. Anything our cats want, need, or think they need (you know, like a fifth churu in a row) - they'll get. We'll do it. And we'll be happy to serve.

But the thing other people, the normies, get wrong about us cat people, is that we're pushovers because we submit so easily to our cats. That couldn't be more wrong. We don't comply with every whim that finds its way to us - it's a privilege reserved for our feline overlords, and them alone. For anyone else? Exactly the opposite. We learned from the best, after all. We raise cats, to remind you of the answer gently… No one can make a cat do what they want them to do, only if the cat allows it with grace and/or pity.

And with cats being so Cat™ about it, it's no wonder it's such a delight to serve them as kings and queens. We're honored with every second they allow us to pamper and spoil them. We remind you it comes with the best prize of all - a cat's love. It's hard-earned and rarely achieved. But when you have it? Oh, it's meowgnificent. So, really, it's no wonder anyone would want to serve their cat like that. It's ameowzing.
