princessmeemee Our restaurant was known for having REALLY good caesars. This was maybe my second shift, or second week pouring drinks ever. Anyway, this lovely pair of ladies come in, order a double tall Caesar each. They loved them, wanted another one. Halfway making the second round, I

the_well_read_neck_ I was boxing up a ladies lamb chops. I got them in the box, then went to put the mint jelly in a ramekin. I then dropped the ramekin on the ground, picked it up, and put it in the box with the lamb chops. I was mortified. I couldn't believe I did that. She too, was mortified. We remade a

  • No Longer Poolside Service

jaimeaa87 As a pool server I dropped a whole tray with 7 burgers, toppings, etc in the pool. Kids were crying, parents were upset, pool cleaning staff were cursing me out. It was less than ideal to say the least.

  • A Quick Switch

bl00is I ordered a virgin daiquiri and the hostess made a real one which I then served to a child. Luckily I went up to the bar area and we realized what happened so I took it back right away and replaced it but the kid definitely took a drink first. Nobody asked any questions so I just moved on and mostly forget about it.

  • A Champagne Fountain

billyballsog When Iwas a temp I would often work these fancy corporate catering events in a museum. One time I was to carry glasses of champagne to a round table of 10, and drop one in front of each guest. I dropped one, and then the genius next in line decided to pull out his chair while I was holding the tray behind him.

  • Needless to say it rained glass and veuve cliquot all over his bald head. There was a moment of silence, and then everyone at the table started laughing. Then I started laughing. Then I looked over at the sopping wet suit, he was not laughing..
