Get ready to binge all your favorite LOLcats in this weekly recap of your purrfect toil, making the meowest of memes the internet could handle!

When I used to scroll through the I Can Has Cheezburger community's output of lolcats every week I would think to myself it's a shame it can't get more exposure. This is, paws down, the best hub for original cat meme content on the internet. And it has been for literal years. I see memes created the day I log it to curate them, and I also see memes created a decade ago. And some of them could be made by the very same people! And when people huddle together for so long, it's saying something.

But then again, it's not surprising that cat people connect so easily about their love of their cats - especially in such a meme-heavy zone. Because, let's fact it, cats make the best meme material. It was never a surprise to me that cats rule the memosphere, and the rest of the internet, really. When I look at my own cat I just know she could be a meme factory if I only had the time and evergy to follow her 24/7. But because the cat peeps of the ICHC community do maage to meme-fy their cats, and other internet feline legends, it pains me they get less expusure than they deserve. Than you deserve.

So a few weeks ago, as you've probably noticed, the team moved your lolcats to a binge-worthy format of a weekly recap, rather than an hourly posting of single memes. This way, the rest of the Cheezburger visitors can visit comfortably, and purrticipate in the hilarity that is an essential part of our website's DNA for years - the meowgnificent, ameowzing lolcats.
