For my mom and me, it's more about growing and having fruit trees and regular plants. In my garden, we have different sections with different types of plants, each with its own requirements and care. Honestly, it's probably the best hobby that I've ever had. Connecting with the earth through gardening soothes the soul and mind, especially during those weeks when everything seems to be going out of hand. Having something to be taking care of, and really focusing on keeping those plants alive, can be a great way to be grounded, at least most of the time. And it doesn't have to be something as big as a whole garden! Having little plants works just as well.

For example, I no longer live with my parents. Yes, I do visit and check on the garden with my mom, or whenever we're both out of town. But I do have my own plants in my apartment. After I moved in and got settled, I bought a pot and a plant; an easy plant, nothing crazy or too time-consuming. Want to know what happened a couple of weeks later? I ended up buying three more, and now my balcony is full of little pots with all kinds of plants and flowers. Looks beautiful! And it's full of life.

If you're not sure whether to start gardening, this is your sign to give it a go. Nothing's more rewarding than caring for something and watching it bloom and grow. It's not only a magical process, but also a great way to let go of worries and stop focusing on the bad side of things. Gardening grounds you and let you focus on the bright, more hopeful side. And if that's not enough to convince you, I hope this meme at least made you second-guess it.
