The magic of finding a black cat on Halloween is something that no one can explain. Their dark silhouettes blend into shadows and their history of being superstitious just adds to the holiday's vibe. Black cats are the ultimate symbol of spooky season, and this year they're making a comeback with honor and dignity. They're expelling themselves of their negative stereotypes by being some of the most adorable and supporting cats there are. They're known for their fangs, but only because the whites poke out amongst their black coats. And their playfulness is something no other cat can match. Folklore told us one thing, but reality may tell us another. And even if you happen to know a black cat who's a bit on the frightful side, a bit of a mischief, or a bit evil in a cute way, then all the power to them. There's no issue with black cats, only with bad pet owners. If you see a black cat, never fear, they will never be the ones to hurt or scratch or bite. The superstitions that propelled them to fame are the same ones we lean on today, and they just add to the eerie atmosphere of Halloween.

This Halloween wasn't just special for the family in the story. I also had a great Halloween with my cat. I didn't make him dress up this year, but I dressed as a stripped cat to match him. We took some photos before my boyfriend and I went out on the town. Cats and Halloween, they really are just apart of the same pot. Do you like cats and Halloween as much as I do? Some people are most Christmas or Easter type of cat people.
