It is so difficult to have a Greatest of All Time conversation in basketball because some of the best players played before the 3-point line. That rule change is so huge that it isn't comparable to changes in Major League Baseball. There have been a lot of rule changes in baseball in the 2020s, but not enough time has passed to see what their long-term repercussions will be in the GOAT conversation. Baseball lowered the pitcher's mound in 1969 and banned spitballs in 1920, but those rules are minor when compared with the addition of the 3-point line in basketball. These days, the NBA is all about chucking 3s!

ESPN made this list before the season started, and I'm already questioning their #3 spot for the Knicks. I know the season just began, but a 2-4 start is not great. Heck, the Washington Wizards are ranked above the reigning world champions!

I hate that such a severe injury decided that game. It really could have gone either way. I'm not one of those people who thinks that the Thunder should've been ashamed to win under these circumstances. After all, they had won so much during the regular season, made it to Game 7 of the NBA playoffs, and still had to fight to win this game. Nobody likes to see anyone get injured, even the star player of the team you're playing against, but even beyond that, this could've been a much better game if that hadn't happened. Maybe the Pacers wouldn't be ringless today if that had happened.
