Since when does helping a scruffy old cat require approval from the neighborhood committee? We'd gladly endure a few dirty looks if it meant giving a kitty some much-needed TLC. The neighbors can clutch their pearls all they want! We'd much rather be known as the crazy cat person who stirred up trouble than the person who walked past a struggling stray kitty and did nothing.

After years of roaming the streets, being indoors with a hooman roommate is a pretty big adjustment. Give her some time and space to explore her new surroundings and she'll settle right in. A bit of a patience goes a long way, especially with older kitties who are used to doing things their own way. She'll eventually discover that room service and warm blankets are pretty pawsome!

Indoor life has many perks for our feline friends! No more dodging cars, dealing with nasty weather, or looking for food. Instead they get cozy beds, regular meals, endless toys, and hoomans who cater to their every need. They might miss a few outdoor adventures, but a safe home with everything they need is a pretty good tradeoff. Especially when endless snuggles are included!
