Family Thinks Their Cat has Brought Home a Huge Rat, Turns Out to be a Smol Puppy

Outdoor cats bring their owners lots of things. Usually dead or half-dead small animals like mice or small birds, sometimes they even bring weird trinkets found around the neighborhood. But this TikToker's kitty brought home an itty bitty puppy and now the family has adopted him. 

TikToker @amayaaso lives on a farm where lots of stray animals tend to wander onto. She says she'll initially check around to see if the animal belongs to anybody, but often times they end up adopting the critter. Before their cat brought the pup, it was a pig that had come into their family. Basically, she's living a Disney princess life and animals are choosing her as their home. Recently, she posted a video of a very smol pup coming into her family. But this one didn't wander on (his legs seemed to small to wander all that much), this time it was her outdoor cat that came home carry the little puppy as if it were the cat's new child. 

The little guy was so tiny with pointy ears that he hadn't quite grown fully into—simply adorable. The TikToker was surprised, but definitely not shocked. What was the cutest part, however, was how enamored her cat was with this little baby dog. Her cat really said, “this dog is part of our family now.” The puppy was happy to find a home. 

The dog was so itty bitty smol that initially the TikToker was kind of freaked out because she thought her cat had brought home an oversized rat. But once she realized that her cat was mothering over a tiny dog, the TikToker was thrilled. She didn't go straight to keeping the pup, however, she did find where he came from.

It turned out the pup was already part of the TikToker's family. Apparently, her niece is her neighbor and she was one of the first people she asked about the pup. The niece had recently gotten the puppy, but hadn't realized the little guy had slipped out. The family is close enough and both have a huge farm filled with animals that the family agreed that the cat new better and had chosen where the pup should live. Thus, how the TikToker got a new puppy in her life that she has now named Peco.
