Photographer Goes Viral After Sharing the Wholesome Photoshoot She Did of Her Dad and Their Senior Pup

Their 17-year-old dog was getting ready to cross the rainbow bridge, so this photographer made sure to get photos that her family could cherish forever.

The worst part about having a dog, is the lifespan. It feels unfair to only have this amazing creature in your life for less than half of your lifetime. But every dog-owner knows, though it's never easy and will forever leave a hole in your heart when they leave, it's worth the years of love and loyalty you get. Nothing is sweeter than a four-legged companion keeping you company through it all, no matter what.

TikToker @cerrab knew she was going to have to say goodbye to her 17-year-old family dog soon. As a photographer she decided a photoshoot capturing the love between her dad and the pup was necessary. The photos she got are both wholesome and beautiful. A day after she posted the video sharing the photos she posted in the comments, “My heart is breaking writing this, but we put him down this afternoon. Treasure your pets while they’re here, you never know when it’s their time.”

The viewers understand how important these photos will be for this family forever. The photos show the father and the pup completely enamored with each other. It's obvious this pet had a long life filled with so much love.

Knowing this pup had to be put down only a day after she posted the initial video makes looking at these photos bittersweet.
