TikTokers Share Stories of When Their Pets Were Being Overdramatic and Cost Them Expensive Trips to the Vet in Vain

Pet owners know they would do absolutely anything for their sweet animals. We just can't resist those cute little faces. Sweet kitten purrs, puppy dog eyes, little bird chirps, even happy fishy swim will make any pet owner swoon. One sad look from a pet, and owners will bend backwards to give them what they want. 

Some pets are starting to catch on. They're starting to realize if they limp a little, they'll get a visit to the vet where they'll get showered in treats. Or if they whine a little, they'll get you to drop your work and come cuddle with them. It's sweet, but sometimes can cause a lot of unnecessary pain and stress, and even sometimes thousands of dollars. 

A TikToker has asked viewers what their most dramatic pet story is, and people are coming through stitching their own stories of overdramatic pets.

This woman's cat chose death over eating cheap food. The feline friend was used to eating expensive canned food, so when they ran out and mama tried to feed her dry food, she went on a food strike. Then her mom went to the local market and bought the most expensive wet food, and still the cat did not eat, and now she was not drinking. Mama spent $600 at the vet to get her checked out, she was totally fine. Once the cats usual order of expensive wet food was back on the menu, she was perfectly fine. 

Dramatic Tumble costing $100

This doggo had a little tumble with his brother. He started to whine like it was the end of the world. He wouldn't stand, couldn't get up. His parents were so concerned. They called the vet and said bring him over even though they were about to close. The second they stepped into the vet, the pup leaps out of his mama's arms and starts happily greeting all the new people…. He just had a tiny bruise. 

Barking Beta Fish

This smart pet fish got used to getting fed every morning. The tank was right next to the head of the bed. So if ma was even a second late for feeding hour, he'd swim his lil mouth to the edge of the tank near her head, and start popping his mouth for her to wake up. She never needed to set alarm when he was around. 

Bird Just Dangles

This bird mama got her sweetie tweety a swanky little flight suit so they could go on walks and into stores without having to put them in a cage. And instead, this bird will not let go of her mama, and will simply dangle from the lead. Any other time this bird will fly around, but the second the expensive suit is on, it's dangle city. 

Expensive Meds for the Kitty

This kitty cat decided she was too allergic to the cheaper version of the daily medication she needs to stay alive. So, now her mama has to spend more than double the cost to get the fancy meds. 

Dramatic Poop

This dog's mama found him collapsed, hyper ventilating, with white gums in their backyard. She was so worried, she instantly rushed him over to the vet. The mama then spent hours completely worried, and $3,000 to find out that her pup had been constipated and had then taken such a huge poop that he scared himself almost half to death. 

Expensive Vet

This pup dropped a lot of weight at an alarming rate and had scabs all over his skin. When the owner took her to the vet, she found out that her dog had developed allergies to her own her. The dog was allergic to… dogs.
