Leaked Texts Show Pete Davidson Sending Kanye Shirtless Selfie From Kim Kardashian's Bed

It's been feeling a whole lot like high school in Hollywood, and thanks to leaked texts between Pete Davidson and Kanye West, it doesn't seem like these stars are graduating tp adult communication anytime soon. The texts, which can be seen below,  were shared by Dave Sirus, an SNL writer and close friend of Davidson - or “Skete” as Kanye seems to like to call him.

In the texts, which have been confirmed as real by Page Six, Pete tells West to calm down - which may have something to do with Kanye's disturbing video for ‘Eazy,’ which features a claymation beating of someone who looks an awful lot like the SNL funnyman, complete with a ‘Skete’ sweatshirt. Pete defends Kim Kardashian and calls her the best mother he's ever met, and then tells Kanye to grow the f*** up. Kanye doesn't take kindly to the profanity, and asks Pete where he is. His response is remarkably unsubtle - a shirtless selfie, mouth agape, paired with a biting “In bed with your wife.” While it may not be the most mature move, Kanye has proven that his maturity level is dangerously low. Fight fire with fire, I guess?

Instead of being the bigger man, Kanye says he's happy to see that Davidson is out of rehab and the hospital, but the snide remark doesn't phase Davidson, who defends the treatment process and suggests it to his new nemesis. Despite numerous pleas for an intimate, in-person meeting, Kanye refuses to make plans to chat with Pete, instead repeatedly saying he can come to Sunday Service if he wants contact. When West stops responding, Davidson pleads with him to get real help - and shares that he's defended West from SNL's writer's room - a feat which cannot be easy given Kanye's larger-than-life, easily parodied personality.

The tweets have received a variety of reactions.

While some people think Pete's actions were justified after Kanye's incessant harassment of both Davidson and Kardashian, others found them disappointing.

Some people think this leak was to distract the world from Kim's controversial words with Variety in which she said women need to “work" - or to stir up PR for her family's new reality series on Hulu.

Naturally, Twitter also had plenty of jokes.

Though the whole saga has been undeniably entertaining, we can't help but feel like it's ran its course. We'll be a lot happier when we're not having this love triangle shoved down our throats on a daily basis. We're inclined to believe there are plenty who agree.
