Why can't real life be more like Skyward Sword?

Yes, in Skyward Sword Link can pick up cat-like things. Yes, he holds them in front of him, arms extended. No, this does not mean that your cat will be as passive as the Skyloft cats. Picking up a real cat in that manner will result in pain...Lots of it...#LFMF
