Comics artist Sean Von Gorman tried a novel publicity stunt to pitch his new self-published comic, The Secret Adventures of Houdini. In a nod to the hero of the story, a super-strong, supernatural version of the famous escape artist, he chained himself to a lamppost outside of New York City comic shop Forbidden Planet yesterday and refused to move until every copy was sold.
