The folks over at Heroic Hollywood are reporting that sources close to Marvel have revealed how The Avengers will split in next year's Civil War, the movie that pits Captain America against Iron Man over superhero legislation.
Team Captain America
From Left to Right: Captain America, Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes), Ant-Man
Falcon and Bucky make sense, both are highly connected to Cap and are integral members of his plot line. Scarlet Witch and Ant-Man are both dubious of Tony Stark's motives, so would tenuously link themselves to the First Avenger.
Hawkeye is the wild card here. His loyalty to either side is up in the air. He could easily be a double agent, or peacemaker.
From Left to Right: Vision, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Widow, War Machine
War Machine is Tony's best friend, and a military man at heart, he's not the type to chaff against orders. Vision is Tony's creation, with a tiny bit of Ultron in him, he recognizes the destructive power of heroes.
Tony has two wild cards in Black Widow and Spidey. Widow has a much better working relationship with Cap, so whatever causes this rift must affect her a great deal. Spidey, on the other hand, is an unknown variable. He may join Tony to begin with, but could easily abandon his team at any time. Heck, he's a just a kid.
