A Coton de Tuléar named Baby Hope Diamond (the bride), and a one-time stray poodle named Chilly Pasternak were wed Thursday night in the most expensive pet wedding in history.
The $158,000 extravaganza was thrown by Wendy Diamond, Baby Hope's owner, to raise money for the Humane Society of New York, and was attended by 250 humans and 50 canines.
"I am just beyond happy," Diamond said. "It was perfect, and these dogs are so sweet. It's a perfect match."
The ceremony was officiated, oddly enough, by none other than Triumph the Insult Comic Dog:
If these two dogs could talk, they would look around this room and what everyone has done for them... And they would say, this is insane! Seriously? We're DOGS! You people are cuckoo.
No word yet on how much the over-the-top nuptials actually raised for charity.
