Lili was born with an extra pair of legs on her back -- a mutation that likely was due to twins' embryos joining in the womb. Vets feared she wouldn't survive a life-saving surgery, but her owner couldn't bear to put her down — she "was so full of life."
So vets forged ahead with the four-hour operation, and now Lili is down to four legs and making a full recovery.
Michael Aufhauser, the owner of an animal refuge center in Switzerland, paid for her surgery:
Now "she is happy, curious and enjoying getting to know the fellow cows."
