Tinder-Like App Created To Help Set Up People With Their Perfect Pet Match
Need a date for Valentine's Day? How about a furr-ever love instead? In Lithuania, animal lovers have created an app, GetPet, inspired by the popular dating app Tinder. GetPet is like Tinder but for dogs in the shelter in need of a furr-ever home. Vaidas Gecevicius, one of the app's creators, takes about how when swiping right on the picture of the dog that melts your heart, "you can arrange a meeting with the dog — a date." Some of the app's features are similar to that of Tinder's, profile pics of the pup and if you scroll down, the information about each pup is revealed. You can also continue swiping left and a new profile will appear. The app currently just features dogs but they hope to add more pets soon! Read all about it at AP News!
