Strange Petition To Sell Montana To Canada For 1 Trillion Dollars Is Gaining Traction, Even By People Who Live There (18 Comments)

The petition appeared on Change.org as a way to help the US pay off its massive debt. Due to its strangeness, it wasn't long before Reddit picked it up and the petition is now gaining some traction. Interestingly enough, quite everyone seems to be onboard with the idea, even those that live in Montana! Others who back the idea have completely forgotten that Montana even exists, one user commented, "Lol, who lives in Montana? I haven't heard of that state in, like, ever."
