When this money-conscious boyfriend on a budget realized he was about to be a potential $300 in the hole, over a nice Valentine's Day dinner date with his girlfriend, he called a hot audible. Unfortunately, further reflection, gave way to him realizing he could in fact afford the expenditure, but the damage was already done. And the emotional fallout manifested in one bitter girlfriend choosing to spend her night with the cat and some crime entertainment, instead. Lesson learned, my dude.
