The MIA Mover is an automated people mover that connects Miami Airport with Miami Intermodal Center (MIC). The train station, bus station and Rental Car Center (RCC) are located inside the Miami Intermodal Center, so those wanting to use any of these services must travel to the MIC. Those arriving to the airport on bus, train or with a rental car should come through the MIC. The address for drivers is 3801 NW 21st St, Miami, FL 33142, USA. The MIA Mover operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and takes 10 minutes to get to the airport. It arrives and departs from Central Terminal on level 3.

    Metrorail and TriRail Trains:

Metrorail and TriRail trains both connect to Miami Airport. The Metrorail has two lines: the Green Line and the Orange Line, which both terminate at Dadeland South. The Green Line continues north past the Atlanta Airport to Palmetto, while the Orange Line finishes at the Airport. One-way tickets start at $2.25. Trains depart every 30 minutes during the week, and every 15 minutes during the weekend.

The TriRail Line runs north along the coast to connect with Fort Lauderdale Airport and West Palm Beach and many stops along the way. Trains leave every 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the time of day. See the timetable on the TriRail website. One-way tickets start at $2.50. Both trains can be paid with cash or with an EASY Card, which can be bought at train stations. All trains arrive and depart from the Miami Intermodal Center.

    Bus:

The following bus lines connect with Miami Airport: Miami Beach Bus and Metrobus lines 37, 42, 57, J, 150 Miami Beach Airport Express, and East-West Connection. All buses arrive and depart at the Miami Intermodal Center, see the instructions above for how to get there. See the Miami-Dade County website for the timetables of each bus line. Tickets cost $2.65 and must be paid with an EASY Card.

    Shuttle:

Many hotels offer airport transit services. Contact a hotel directly to inquire. SuperShuttle is a shuttle company that offers a number of different vehicles and services to and from the airport. Shuttles can be booked from the airport, but if going to the airport it is necessary to book a shuttle in advance. Miami Airport provides a price comparison page for SuperShuttles and taxis on its website.

    Taxi, Uber and Lyft

    Taxi:

Taxis are available for airport transfer and don't need to be booked in advance, except for passengers requiring a taxi late at night or early in the morning. Taxis leaving the airport are on the ground level outside the baggage claim area, and taxis dropping off passengers go to departures. Call Taxi Miami has the highest ratings on Google. See Miami Airport's website for fare prices and more details.

    Uber and Lyft:

Uber and Lyft are often used for incoming and outgoing passengers at Miami Airport. Uber and Lyft are very similar to use, and to do so passengers must download the app, fill in the required information, choose a vehicle and service, and order the car. Both companies offer different vehicles for different needs. There is no designated ride-sharing pickup area at Miami Airport, so passengers should enter the terminal and door number they are closest to. Passengers coming to the airport should be dropped off at the departures area.
