Facing Cancer Treatment, a 90-Year-Old Woman Chose Instead to Take the Trip of a Lifetime

At 90 years old, just two days after her husband of 67 years passed away, Norma was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Cancer treatment can be grueling and in Norma's case, it would be risky. According to her son on their Facebook page Driving Miss Norma, her doctor said that in addition to the much lower quality of life she would have had while going through treatment there was no guarantee that she would survive the initial surgery at all. 

Instead of going through with treatment she's been lucky enough to hop in an RV and travel with her son and daughter-in-law. 



They take her anywhere she wants to go and have been documenting their travels. She's become an inspiration to others who are in the process of making tough choices at the end of life.
