If you're not familiar with what "manspreading" is, it's the stereotype that men tend to take up more space than necessary in public spaces by spreading their legs. Women, on the other hand, are stereotyped as trying to take up as little space as possible by crossing their legs or keeping them tightly closed.
A student at the University of Brighton was fed up with dudes taking up too much room on the bus so she created an art project called the "Manspreading Chair," which forces men to keep their legs closed.
Whether or not you believe manspreading is a cultural problem, you gotta admit that the whole thing is pretty effing meme-able!
