Here's a page doing God's work. Facebook page #StopClickbait posts super clickbait-y articles and reveal the real information with each article. No more digging through an article and being incredibly disappointed with the results. Which is, well, always.
In their own words, "Journalism today is simply a matter of finding a viral YouTube video, embedding it onto your website, spamming ads around it, and then clickbaiting. All of mainstream media does this. Time, Forbes, Huffington Post, everyone. Original content creators deserve part of that ad revenue, but they get nothing. It's truly a shame that freebooting is so widely accepted."
We agree with Stop Clickbait and are doing what we can to break the cycle!
