Jordan Peterson Bullied Off of Twitter For Fat Shaming Sports Illustrated Model

Jordan Peterson and his kermit voice have a lot more fans than they should, but the controversial Canadian psychologist isn't winning any more of them with his recent Twitter antics. The “anti-snowflake” author took to the platform yesterday, seemingly to fat shame model Yumi Nu after Sports Illustrated shared their latest cover. While the image of the “plus-sized” model has made a lot of people happy, Jordan Peterson is not one of them.

When Twitter user @VaushV replied to express confusion over the use of “authoritarian” - and to say Peterson sounds like a parody of himself - he actually got a response from the internet's villain of the day.

The explanation, and the articles he cited, didn't help Peterson's case. His original tweet stoked the ire of many Twitter users, inspiring a wealth of mockery, memes, and of course, some scathing sentiments.

All of the insults actually inspired the self-help guru to leave Twitter entirely. He gave his staff control of his password to keep him from “temptation.” Maybe bullying is good.

The jury's out on whether or not he's pulling a Chrissy Teigen (she really can't stay away), but for now we're just happy to bask in the roasts. Jordan Peterson may never change, but at least we have the satisfaction of knowing he's been effectively exiled. Twitter is definitely a better place for it.
