I never really got the hype when it came to being a horse girl. It seemed to me like being even a casual horse rider required pouring a lot of money and effort into a creature that was both high maintenance and kind of scary to boot. The couple of times I've ever been on a horse have been an uncomfortable experience, where I've been more concerned about falling off than spending some quality time with the animal I'm sitting on.
If one self-styled gender expert is anything to go by, though, my concerns might have come from the fact that I was doing it wrong — or at least, not in the way that most women do. “Biblical Masculinity” writer Alpha Masculinity has come under fire recently for his claims that the supposed fairer sex should not engage in things like riding horses, bicycles, or motorbikes. His reasoning behind it was as simple as it was deranged: women find these modes of transport far too sexually stimulating, especially if they're on top of a muscular, “packing” stallion.
It doesn't come as a shock that this was news to people of all genders, and it inspired some perplexed reactions. One of these was an eloquent takedown by Christian TikToker April Ajoy, who pondered “how can I even do satire when tweets like this are real?”.
Her viewers felt like there may have been some flaws in his logic.
Many women were in complete agreement with the mockery, although some had further questions. “So if it's a female horse, does it turn us into lesbians?”, wondered @amberbaxdarragi.
Many also felt like Alpha Masculinity might have been aiming at the wrong target.
Let's put it this way, there's more than one way to skin a cat in a way that might make a woman a little less inclined to sleep with her husband. However, it's not like this guy seems to have the greatest grasp of how this kind of anatomy works. “I don't even want to know what this dude thinks about tampons”, said @danideltabravo.
Is there any innocent pastime women can partake in without a deeply insecure man making it about how we don't need them? Unfortunately not. I guess the only way we can get our kicks now is by using Jedi mind tricks that get men to emasculate themselves by leaning towards us in photos.
