I'm really sorry to hear that man. I just lost my cat in November. She was 10 years old. I'm still struggling with it. I know what you mean about commenting becoming a job. I feel that way sometimes especially when the system doesn't like to cooperate. I've relaxed my commenting a bit, I kinda want to get back to all thdme semi rping in the comments but I just don't have the motivation for it right now. The new season starts in April so it won't be long now until we get a bit busier. Good to see you back.

Oh no... Don't worry about here, you and your mum comfort each other.

Yeah, for years now. It's her own fault though for eating poorly and never exercising.

Always a good idea. I wish I could convince my grandmother to walk more.

Is your mom improving though, after her hospital stay?

Things are mostly settled now and I'm doing alright. I've got free time again. How have you been doing?

Busy as hell. Trying to get this place cleared out.

That's alright. I'm just on my way to work right now (so I'll have to watch that video later).

Thanks you for talking to me about it. This has brought back a lot of good memories for me. In the end theyou will always outweigh the pain of loss so at least for me it was worth it.

No dogs but I've got two cats one about 9 and the others around 3 or 4, not sure since they were both shelter cats. Lakota was a Malamute wolf mix and she lived to the maximum of her breed's life expectancy, so we'd been preparing for something to happen for a while before it did. I would say replacing a pet right away isn't the best option, especially since you still have a lot like you said. You'll have to get her to focus on the others somehow.

Yeah about five years ago we had to put our 13 year old malamute down. She had arthritis pretty bad and one day she just couldn't get up anymore. Big dogs can get whats called hip dysplasia which is what happened with her. It's hard to think about and it always will be but I don't regret the time I spent with her. That's the best thing to focus on. Find a good memory and cement it in your mind. It helps when your thoughts dwell on that pet to have it be something you chose to remember.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I know how rough that is to go through.
