We're getting some of it, maybe just the tail-end of it. Spitty rain and cold in the upper 30's low 40's. Misery. lol

Thanksgiving has been fine. I'm glad you had a good one with your family. That's great that the media center looks great. If it looks good and fulfills its function, then all is well. I think having things mixed a bit is a good look. Enjoy the weekend.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! I did absolutely nothing today and it felt good! I've heard of that thing you said about pennies from heaven. Very cool! I can imagine you miss them very much. xox

That's misleading that the wood is so many different shades and the fact it could very widely wasn't disclosed. I hope the doors and such go on faster than you expect. Your kittehs are still young. My two littermate sisters, Woodee and Prudence, are nineteen. They have definitely slowed down. I'm grateful for each day we have.

I am familiar with "some assembly" and sympathize. I hope you can get it all done soon. It's a shame they didn't have one set up on display so you could see the actual color and get a better idea of how much time it would take to put it all together. I'm sure that was on purpose though. May you get some rest Sunday before another work week begins.

Heeee! But he'd suspect you anyway. :D We didn't get any kids either, but I'm huddled in the dark, pretending I'm not home. I didn't see any kids walking down the street, tho. I think only 2 houses had their porch lights on. xox

Your birthday present sounds marvelous! If you were retired, you would have had time to have it up and running. LOL

I worked from the time I was eighteen, but I've had no adjustment problem with retirement. My job didn't end when I came home nor during breaks, and it has been wonderful to have time to do what I want without constantly worrying about getting work things done. When you do retire, you will find plenty to do, I assure you. For now, I hope you continue to enjoy your work.

If you can continue to work, then go for it. I don't like the fixed income idea, but I don't think I could have gone on without paying a huge price physically. it was will power that got me through the final two years. It's nice not having work taking up most of my life, but there is plenty to do around here now that it is my primary focus. I've taken time to read again, and that has been marvelous. I hope you had a great summer and that the winter won't be extremely cold and snowy. It was good to have a message from you.
