I saw that you are looking for retired collectibles so I sent you a Happy Pie from Thanksgiving. Got an extra Corm, too, but you can only send one per day to a friend, so if you still need it tomorrow I'll sent it to ya.

We had alot of that here in Little Rock, too. Any flooding we got was from the heavy rains and NOTHING like you had! I can only imagine what everything looked like under that much water, and how awful it must have been knowing you might have to leave at a moment's notice! I'm sure glad you made it through all right! It was bad enough having to listen to it on the news every day as the flooding moved south and affected so many people.

Geez, I'm sorry you ran into a bad apple here! They do turn up now and again, unfortunately. I've heard of Reelfoot, but looked up Tiptonville and see it's between Reelfoot and the Mississippi. I hope you didn't have any trouble with flooding earlier this Spring, tho I suppose you're far enough away that it didn't reach ya. It's been a wild one, hasn't it?

You're very welcome! This is such a happy place - oh, sure, we've got the odd bad apple (and some folks would say I'm one of 'em) but by and large the people here are the best I've found online. It really is like a family and it's saved my sanity on more than one occasion. If you don't mind saying, which part of Tennessee do you call home? Did some traveling through when I was much younger; my Grandaddy would drive down to...*some*where, it was a long drive...but he'd go horse-trading and I'd go with him. I grew up in Northern VA where there was a large Mennonite population, and since they couldn't trailer their own stock, well... Any fun activities planned for this weekend? I hope they keep you good and busy there. *hugs* back!

I'm in PA, so nothing has happened, at least so far. I hope everything will be ok where you live! I'm praying for people affected by the tornadoes!

Yes I heard about that. The storms are due here tonight and tomorrow also. Sounds like you were hit with a tornado....we might get the call to come there too. Were a lot of people hurt? Some of my squad crew went to Oklahoma. They left Joplin and went straight there. I'm getting too old for this kind of lifestyle now and I think I will keep myself right here, where I belong. I can help out here if needed. (((HUGS)))
