You're right about the FPs. So many of them are not user-generated that I quit checking them.

Well, that's helpful anyway! Looks like my only "real" friend at work [the only one I actually trust because she feels about this place the way I do] is probably going to leave for another, BETTER [albeit lower-paying] job after the beginning of the year. *SIGH* And I will probably get lumbered with the cr*p she currently does ... which mainly involves dealing with our megalomaniacal boss! BLECH. True story: you came up in convo today because she and I were talking about Tay-Sachs and how SHE had to be tested for all sorts of things before her 2nd baby was born [she was 39 so an "older" mother] ... so genetic testing got mentioned and thus YOUR name was dropped. So now you're famous on the 3rd Coast! :)

Awesome...now we both have completed sets. It is kinda sad that collecties are going away. When I first came on the site and saw them I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of chasing things that really have no value. As it turns out, it's a good way to connect with other folks as we give and receive gifts. Now I will be sad to see them go. Are you all unpacked and settled in? Are the kittehs comfy now and enjoying their new playground?

Thanks for the collectible. Did you see this? Collectibles will be ending. All of them will be available for purchase for a month. Four months from now, we won't be able to send them. http://collectibles.cheezburger.com/

You know, I never look at people's Collectibles -- I just click on the "donate" [or whatever it is] button and see who "needs" things ... so if you don't want the Memebase stuff, let me know ... I just take ANYthing. I'm not picky. :) How's the job hunt going?

Wi-fi's working but my laptop needed a new hard drive. Ouch! Thx for asking & for your collectibles.

Vases and candles...I can see where those would be a luxury you can't enjoy with cats around. I know Becky's Lab tail would make short work of those as well. I don't know if you've seen it but I did make a video of Becky playing with a little Golden Retriever Puppy. If you ever need to smile...give this a shot. It always helps me. http://cheezburger.com/beckysdad/vids/View/28440577

Thx good cheezfriend 4 You've Got Mail & Hotdog Dog & Fluffy Owl. I really appreciate it!

I think it would be a blast setting up a cat playground. I've seen some pretty elaborate things that people have set up with walkways set high on the walls and overhead. It's something that people could go to great lengths over and yet they're often just as happy to play with a wadded up ball of paper. I'm glad you're excited about getting things organized and settled. We do have pretty good weeks around here. I uploaded some pics a bit earlier from a playdate we had this morning...and no, Becky is not spoiled. She's just well loved. ;^)

Yeah, that whole work thing can be awfully inconvenient sometimes. ;^) The only thing worse than having a job is not having a job, right? Unpacking can take a long time. Especially when you're combining households and decisions are made about which person's something will get used and finding a spot for everything. Our weekend looked a lot like the week did with walks on the trails or romps in the park. In between, I cooked and worked on the family history photo project. We're getting pretty close to completion on that. I hope to make finish with scripts, recordings and final photo selections this weekend. We're about ninety percent of the way done with design. Then I'll have a chunk of computer time to put in to finish editing, adding soundtrack and making sure it's ready to burn the DVDs. It's been a long time coming. That sounds like a nice breakfast scene with you and the cats watching the squirrels scurrying around.

Thanks for the squirrel. I like them in collectie sets but Becky doesn't care for them being in our yard. Are you unpacked and settled in? How was the weekend?

"Politely decline anything from the South" -- BWAHAHAH! You'd already fit in!!! :) Well, if it's experience they want, they have to give you a job SO YOU GET EXPERIENCE. Yeesh -- people are clueless sometimes. Heh. Still, fingers crossed for the job of your dreams!!
