Relatable Memes For Runners

It's always humbling to be drunkenly trudging home from a long night out and see people running. The contrast between being a piece of human trash and taking care of one's body is alarming. These running memes go out to the responsible and fit people with the strength to wake up early or strap on those sneaks after a long day of work. Keep making us feel like garbage - maybe at some point we'll join your elite and sinewy ranks. Until then, all we have to offer is memes.

Guy Accidentally Races A Woman Without Her Knowledge, She Gets Terrified And Almost Karate Chops Him

We love a good old-fashioned TIFU. This guy was out hitting the trails and thought he'd challenge himself to a little race. He unknowingly ends up sprinting up on a terrified young woman in the darkest part of the trail, where he finds himself face-to-face with her ready to karate chop him out. Sounds like he managed to survive the incident, and proceeded to awkwardly powerwalk himself into the sunset.

If you haven't see this one then hot damn. Nobody would ever have believed either of them had it not been for the camera. Since the incident he's been captured and gone back to prison. Several books have been written about him.

Apparently, There Is a New Swedish Trend Where People Collect Trash While Jogging

Why jog when you can "plog" – the newest fitness trend that focuses as much on your own health as on the health of the environment. "Plogging" is a combination of jogging and the Swedish phrase plocka upp, meaning "pick up,". The trend encourages people to stop while out on jogs to pick up litter, by lunging and squatting. The trend is growing in interest and has its own hashtag on social media for people to use while out in the fields picking up trash. Via: Mashable

If you're like me you might've been out there trying to catch 'em all, stressed out about making the most outta your limited supply of incense, and completely unaware that the best way to attract Pokémon while using an incense is to jog...at exactly 7.5 miles per hour. So, reasonably damn fast.

Yes, according to Pokémon GO's coding (first discovered by the Redditor __isitin__), Incense'll spawn one Pokémon every five minutes, if the player is not moving around. Except, the spawn rate surges to once a minute if a player travels at least 200 meters between spawns---about 7.5 MPH.

Based off Pokémon GO's frustratingly glitchy tracking system, and players actually taking pit stops to catch the Pokémon they find---you'd probably be able to catch between 10-15 Pokémon while your incense is active.
