Riding on the white, flowy coattails of yesterday's Michael Fassbender-Assassin's Creed announcement is Eidos Montreal, planning a film version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

There are no stars attached yet, but will include heavy involvement from Eidos, something that Ubisoft is also doing for their new film.

The trend is certainly promising for video game movies. Marvel Studios launched for similar reasons -- to ensure adaptations of your intellectual properties suck less. Best wishes for Deus Ex, and the future of game films.
