Lego just solved the mystery of how to make book nooks even cooler. Introducing the new LEGO Icons Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook (10351), a Victorian diorama disguised as bookshelf décor, and quite possibly the classiest excuse yet to build LEGO as a grown-up. With 1,359 pieces and more hidden features than a locked-room mystery, this thing is packed tighter than Holmes' violin case.
The set recreates London's iconic Baker Street with surprising detail—complete with a revolving display window in the bookshop, a shadowy terrace, a sliding front door, and an interior scene straight out of 221B, including Holmes' fireplace, clue board, and yes, his violin. And on top of that, You can obviously fold it closed and slot it right between your Sherlock books, instantly turning your shelf into a tiny portal to foggy gaslit streets and cleverly hidden evidence.
It includes five minifigures: the ever-brilliant Sherlock Holmes, faithful Dr. Watson, the effortlessly cool Irene Adler, classic villain Professor Moriarty, and an intriguing new character named Paige. We're not saying she's a time-traveling librarian with a dark past—but we're also not not saying that.
It releases June 1 for $129.99, and pre-orders are live right now on the LEGO Shop. Get it before it disappears into a puff of pipe smoke.
