Rare Baby Deer's Birth Delights Zookeepers (Video)

Oh, deer! We came across this delightful baby deer video while doing our daily meandering throughout the depths of the interwebs, and we were instantly charmed by this little fawn's delightful personality. It is so refreshing to read about and watch positive news stories like this one. We hope that more efforts continue to be made to protect these beautifully unique animals. 

"Animal Conservationists are happy to have midnight feedings with a rare Visayan Spotted Deer that was just born at the UK's Chester Zoo. The nocturnal mammal is the newest addition to a breed that is fighting back from the edge of extinction. Zookeepers have named the new little fawn Lyra, after the constellation of stars. She joins a "celestial" family. Her mom is named Nova and her dad is Cosmos. She was only 6.6 pounds at birth, but could grow to over 175 pounds." Via Inside Edition.
