What could be better than replacing those boring and gloomy money bills with some adorable kitties?
When Japan's Finance Ministry announced new official designs for the 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000-yen bills a few months ago, illustrator @bokoyai proposed an alternative design for the bank bills, with cute kittens cheerfully playing and purring, as part of his fictional "Cat bank".
