K9 Police Dog on Duty Decides to Take a Quick Dip in the Pool of the Backyard They are Searching

It's not easy upholding the law, especially when you're also busy being the goodest boy. TikToker @megresell recently had a wild day at home. She was just at home minding her own business when a stranger busted into their house and was hiding somewhere. The called the police in fear, and they came busting in ready to search the yard. Apparently, there had been what we can only expect to be an epic totally insane action-packed car cash. The TikToker never mentions how the cash ended up in her backyard, but we're guessing there was an epic explosion where they thought the perpetrator was done for, but then through the smoke they saw him running on foot and then he snuck into this TikToker's backyard. 

Maybe we're exaggerating on the car cash details; maaaaaybe we just watched the new Batman movie and are hyped on the action; but the TikToker never explained the car cash story, so we're going with our theory. 

ANYWAYS, why we are all gathered here to day is for the power move the K9 did while on duty. It was a hot day and they were all working very hard, especially the pup who was using his powerful snoot to sniff out the bad guy. In the midst of it all, the police went to the TikToker for a random request. He asked her if the K9 could maybe take a quick dip in their pool to cool off? The girl, obviously, did not hesitate to allow such adorable shenanigans and thus, the cute content ensued. The TikToker even says in the comments that the dog ended up taking a few dips in the pool during that search since it was so hot out.

Viewers are obsessed and rightfully so, because there's nothing cuter than seeing a dog in a serious position and situation let his adorable pup side show. One viewer commented, “Dog said, nope, no guy in here, let me do another sweep.” Another said, “That’s his union mandated 15 minute break.” “He was making sure no bad guys were in the pool," someone else commented. 

Honestly, we commend this pup and his valiant duty. He deserves that quick on duty dip. You never know—maybe the perp was hiding in the pool and that pup was on to something!
