Lady Fostering a Sweet American Bully Dog Named Hippo Gets Accosted by Some Lady Pushing Her Tiny Fluffy White Dog in a Stroller

We've said it before and we'll say it again, it's not the dog that's aggressive, it's the human. American bullies are thiccc babies that have a stereotypical scary build for a dog. But their reputation has them all wrong, man. These guys are total sweeties that love to play and cuddle. The only thing you should be careful about with American bullies is they will cover you in slobber from all the kisses they give you. 

Unfortunately, uneducated dog owners choose to stay uneducated and see a heavy built dog or a stereotypical bully breed and instantly cry wolf. TikTok Kelsey Darragh is currently fostering a sweet American bully she has named Hippo, because he looks like a happy little baby hippo. His chonkiness and loving personality has instantly made him a viral sensation on TikTok and dog people are completely in love with Hippo. 

However, since he's a bully breed and built hella stocky, ignorant people still approach him in fear. Though the TikToker is trying to dismantle that stereotype by showing the world how sweet and harmless Hippo is, she still has to deal with people approaching her to tell her that her dog is pure evil. 

Like recently, the TikToker was simply sitting at a dog park with Hippo minding her own business. The pup had just had a blast running around playing with other dogs in the dog run and were now sitting in a bench in the park resting with his ma. The dog was properly leashed and just chilling there not making a commotion at all. Most of the people who passed them were excited to say hi to Hippo and soak up some of that sweetness. Except for one old white lady. 

This lady approached the TikToker and her dog just to inappropriately say “your dog looks like a killer.” Kelsey was confused and asked huh? And the woman repeated herself, “your dog looks like a killer.” Now, this lady apparently looked like your stereotypical entitled white lady and was pushing her tiny yappy fluffy white dog in a baby stroller. That's already several red flags right there. 

When it registered in Kelsey's head what this woman just said to her, she looked her straight in the eyes and responded, “YOU look like a killer…” The awkward silence and hurried scuffle that must've followed after that is probably priceless.
