A girl and her kitty cat is special kind of relationship. Cats can bond to their human as if they were that human's own mother. Recently, TikToker Meli posted a video showing just how bonded her cat is with her little girl.

Her daughter and their newest cat family member Jack are like two peas in a pod. The two are always cuddling together and the cat sticks next to her like glue. When her daughter has to go to school in the mornings Jack looks longingly and awaits her return. So Meli decided one day to let the cat walk her to the bus stop and to see if he would come right back.

And as the best cat nanny ever, Jack walked his human to the bus stop, made sure she got on the bus safely, and then came right back home. His face really said, “don't worry, I took care of her, she's safe.” It's absolutely adorable.

"Cat nanny! Gotta pay his rent somehow"

The video obviously went viral because who doesn't love a cute cat? But also because what a good kitty! You've heard of protective dogs, but it's rare to hear about a cat being protective over their human. Meli eventually posted another video of Jack going to his human girl while she's asleep and checking in on her. He makes sure she's all good and then cuddles up right next to her while she goes in to give him a gentle hug for them to nap together.

“That's His Child”

Jack as a Kitten

The bond between this human child and her kitty is truly a wholesome thing. This child will have a cat nanny to grow up with for about the next 15 years. They will take care of each other and learn from each other, but in the end, it's Jack who is this girl's protector. You can just see it in the way he is around her, he would do anything for this little girl. You think getting attacked by a large dog is scary, try a black cat ready to claw out your eyes if you even look at his human child strangely.
