There are so many great things about traveling: experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, seeing different parts of the world, and tasting mind-blowing new foods. Unfortunately, we can't all travel all the time. However, there is something you can do: travel through your tastebuds! Thanks to the internet, we have access to recipes from all over the world. If you're quaranbored and wish you could walk through the streets of Italy, do the next best thing: make authentic Italian food. We've included some GIFs and links below to get you started (click on the 'via Youtube' link to go straight to the videos). Happy traveling!

Gennaro is probably one of the most well known Italian chefs online. Cooking from the rustic outdoor kitchen in his house, it doesn't get more authentic than this. He's also super cute to watch. He feels like your long-lost Italian grandpa who always insists you haven't had enough to eat and force-feeds you tonnes of pasta (which sounds great to be honest).
If you haven't been introduced to Ethiopian food, you're long overdue. Ethiopian food is one of the tastiest foods on Earth (in my humble opinion) and it has lots of vegetarian options. Listen to some funky Ethiopian music while you're cooking and you're halfway to colorful Ethiopia.
Samosas are the perfect afternoon snack. Dip that badboy in some mango chutney and close your eyes as you smell garam masala drifting through the air and have your sunglasses stolen by a monkey.
When it comes to cooking channels on YouTube, the highest quality/best editing definitely does not mean the best recipes. In fact, the more technologically basic the videos are, the more likely the recipe is going to be made by an Indian mother who knows her s*** about cooking. This video is a perfect example.
Pho - the quintessential dish of Vietnam. Once you've mastered pho, you can master anything. So get the ingredients together and imagine that you're buying a bowl of pho from a tiny stall on the street as endless scooters beep and whiz past you.
Arabic food is (again, in my humble opinion) severely underrated. They also have the best breakfast food in the world: shakshouka. Throw away all other recipes you have for shakshouka and re-learn how to make it the authentic way from these Saudi Arabian women. You can almost hear the calls to prayer coming from a distant mosque.
