Older Brother Surprises His Sister at Her Quinceanera With The Dance From White Chicks

When asked to do a dance at their sister’s quinceanera, these two brothers took their role to the next level. As many know, quinceaneras are a very elaborate rite of passage in Latino communities to celebrate a girl's 15th birthday. It’s like a My Super Sweet 16 on MTV, but with way better music, better food, and a more festive atmosphere. 
 

That’s why it’s a big deal when the honorary 15-year-old-to-be asks anyone to be a part of it. While there are many ceremonial dances, usually group choreographed pieces with traditional music and the daughter’s closest friends (otherwise known as her “Court”), there are also a few dances that are more contemporary and less structured. 
 

Andrew Garcia got asked by his younger sister if he could put together a performance for her quince and the results are breathtaking. 

Whether Andrew was driven by the older-brotherly desire to embarrass his sister or if he had divine inspiration, he and his friends (who are very dedicated by the way), decided to recreate the classic club dance-off scene from the 2004 comedy, White Chicks. And they nailed it, step for step. 

She asked… We said sure

Not only did they perfectly recreate the dance moves, but Andrew and his buddies replicated the early 2000’s wardrobe. Of course, since all the characters in the scene are female, the ensuing hilarity becomes obvious. 
 

It’s a miracle there were no wardrobe malfunctions due to the scantily clad adult men. 

Well, maybe not.

Not only was the routine a raving success, but Andrew shared videos of the follow up after party. It looks like nobody wanted to break character or change out of their blonde wigs. So maybe they stole the spotlight a little bit from Andrew’s younger sister, but the Internet thanks you.

Either way, this commitment to the cause is unmatched. Not only did these men clearly slave over a difficult dance routine to honor their buddy's kid-sister, but they also all came through and brought to life a movie that we’re all reminded we need to rewatch as soon as possible. Andrew and his friends set the bar for sibling step ups and she can always cherish the memory of her brother and his friends cross-dressing in her honor.
