Video producer and editor Leo Hashee, who has started to make his name as a viral social media influencer himself, took to his TikTok recently to call out another viral star that he worked for when he was younger named Qpark. Hashee was only around 18 or 19 years old at the time and had just stared college. When he started working for Qpark he was editing his videos for him and for each few minutes it would take hours. Hashee was only making around $5 ot $6 an hour. He was young and naive and was okay with it because he thought it would maybe lead to something better for himself.

“I was also kind of a clout chaser obviously, I'm not saying that I was completely innocent,” he says in the video. After several months of working for the influencer and getting severely underpaid, he asked for a raise. Qpark sent him an email back saying he would double his pay, but then completely ghosted him. He says he was never officially fired, but the influencer and anyone else he tried to contact associated with him just completely severed any sort of communication with him, all because he asked for a raise.

“Dear all editors and anyone else…”

“It feels so unprofessional to not even send a single email being like, ‘hey, maybe we shouldn’t work together anymore,” Hashee says. “I don't understand how you expect me to understand what I did wrong and not be upset about it, when you completely ignore me and pretend like I never existed.”

Hashee adds that he didn't make this tell-all video out of hate and he is happy for his old boss' popularity on TikTok. But he does emphasize, that if you are a video editor, make sure you get paid for your work and get credited for it all. Now, Hashee is actually an Internet sensation himself for his own funny videos he posts to TikTok and especially for his anime series he creates to YouTube. So even though he was screwed by an influencer, he learned a lot and has now become himself.
