Cats Are Excited on the Inside as Their Owners Have Pretend Conversations Using Their Favorite Words

A trend started several years ago with dogs where the owner would fake a conversation on the phone using all the words that triggered their dog into an uncontrollable excited frenzy. Dogs would heart “go for a walk” or “treats” and totally flip out like dogs do. They'd start bouncing around, doing zoomies, borking, barking and everything in between.

Recently, cat owners wanted to get in on the fun—but we all know cats and dogs are quite opposite. Though dogs wear their excitement on the outside, cats stay cool and collected and keep their excitement on the inside. The most you'll see out of these cats is a loud meow or stern look that says, “mom, I swear to cat God if you are messing with me right now I will go scratch the couch up…” I mean, would you expect anything less?? Still, as a cat lover, it's just as fun to do the trend and watch the reactions of other people's kitties.

"We're looking out the window together…"

At least this Kurt here is meowing back like he understands.

“Treats?” “MEOW”

Ok, this cat will acknowledge your existence for treats.

Cat Loves Walkies

This cat's trigger word is “walk," because I guess it likes to go on walks?? Still, the look he gives her is saying “don't mess with me, mother.”

"Chickeeeeen!"

Is the cat reacting because of the word or the way she says the word?

“Does Mittens love food?…”

Yes. Mittens loves food.

Treats AND Food??

This cat really said, “are you serious??”

Bum Shuffle for Treats

Ok, this cat showed a tiny bit more excitement on the outside this time…

You Said Tune, So Come On, Let's Go

This pretty girl was curled up ready for a snooze, but once she heard tune she wasn't taking no for an answer.
